Elevo Receives WASC Accreditation

Elevo is pleased to announce that our program curriculum has been granted accreditation status by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We are so honored to join this group of over 5,000 schools and programs that foster excellence through their curriculum.

To earn this accreditation, we completed a detailed program report and hosted an initial visit by fellow educators to examine the program in relation to student learning and well-being based on the WASC criteria. The resulting initial visiting report that was reviewed by the WASC Commission summarized program-wide strengths and growth areas for continuous improvement. This is a critical first step in our continuous improvement journey that involves all stakeholders in a deeper analysis of its program based on the WASC criteria through the self-study/visit process.

WASC accreditation validates the integrity of a program’s curriculum and transcripts, and assures a community that the program’s goals are appropriate and being accomplished through a viable education system. Furthermore, WASC accreditation is a certification to the public that our program is a trustworthy institution of learning and well-being that is committed to continuous improvement and high-quality learning and well-being for all students.

Through the WASC ongoing accreditation cycle, we conduct an in-depth self-study, normally every five or six years, host a visit by fellow educators, and engage all stakeholders in a follow-up process of implementing, monitoring, and refining the resulting program-wide action plan.

We are incredibly proud of our mission to transform the well-being of students so they look forward to coming to school. We remain committed to working hand-in-hand with schools to nurture the next generation with a full range of SEL-infused programs. Our WASC-accredited curriculum is designed to promote social-emotional learning through physical well-being and a range of enrichment activities. Our programs provide opportunities to learn, move, and work together beyond classroom walls. As we shape the next generation, we continue to engage with students, inspiring them to thrive in every sense of the word.

Once again, big thank you to:
