This summer, we’re bringing your students weekly themed units that are filled with games, activities, and skill-building opportunities. Week 4: Mystery Detective

Summer Enrichment

Early Childhood

Objective: Students will explore skills used when solving mysteries.
Lessons:

Elementary

Objective: By investigating clues, solving puzzles, and collaborating with peers, students will develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities while unraveling mysteries and honing their detective instincts.

Middle School

Objective: Students will strengthen their critical thinking skills by cracking codes and solving puzzles, promoting inquiry and evidence-based reasoning.
Lessons:
• Cipher Solutions
• Keypad Codes
• Fingerprint Detective
• Agamograph
• Spy Scavenger Hunt

Supplemental Projects

Early Childhood

Objective: Students will explore skills used when solving mysteries.
Lessons:
• Sculpt something out of playdough and give your teammates “clues” to help them guess what it is.
• Build a cup phone to send kind messages to your friends!
• What would your dream hideout or hangout place look like?

Elementary
