This summer, we’re bringing your students weekly themed units that are filled with games, activities, and skill-building opportunities. Here’s where you can find a snapshot of everything our coaches will be sharing with them. Explore both our EQ Program and our Rotational Sports Program using the buttons below.

Week 5: Fantasy

Summer Enrichment

Early Childhood

Objective: Students will explore fantasy and fairy tales.
Lessons:
• Three Little Pigs

Elementary

Objective: Students will explore the imaginary worlds of different fairy tales and fictional stories in various comprehension building activities.
Lessons:
• Tiny Havens: Crafting Resilient Miniature Dwellings
• Fantasy Cartography: Mapping Imaginary Worlds
• Exploring Perspective Taking through “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs”
• Helping Humpty Dumpty

Middle School

Objective: Students will engage in artistic expression through magic, adventure, and fantasy-themed activities, encouraging imagination and creativity.
Lessons:
• Magic Potion Recipe
• Treasure Map
• Mythical Creature Design
• Mythical Creature Habitat
• Fantasy School: Spells

Supplemental Projects

Early Childhood

Objective: Students will explore fantasy and fairy tales.
Lessons:
• Create a Neighborhood for the 3 Little Pigs.
• Work as a Team to Build the Strongest house.
• Make your own pig or other farm animal. As a group, can you create a story with all the playdough animals?

Elementary

Objective: Students will explore the imaginary worlds of different fairy tales and fictional stories in various comprehension building activities.
Lessons:
• Puppets and Playwrights
• Fantasyland Diorama 
• LEGO Build - Fantasy World

Middle School

Objective: Students will engage in artistic expression through magic, adventure, and fantasy-themed activities, encouraging imagination and creativity.
