GGUSD Soccer Program

We are excited to continue to enhance our after school programming with the Boys & Girls Clubs. Our latest endeavor is to partner with Elevo to offer elementary sports to students enrolled in Boys & Girls Clubs. We are offering this new program in hopes of introducing more students to organized sports and helping them find a sport they can grow with over the rest of their K-12 education journey.

Registration for our soccer program is open now, and we expect those spots to fill up quickly. So do not wait—click the button below to register now!

Sports Program Details

Our sports rotation curriculum provides foundational and community skill building through play and physical activities, as well as an individualized sports program that is designed collaboratively to meet the needs of your students.

Whether they are a seasoned expert or have never touched a ball, our sports rotations were designed to provide opportunities to all students so that they can play and grow together.

Each Elevo Sport rotation includes unique Coach training and student instruction, navigating the process from foundational skill development to jamborees, tournaments, or skill showcases over the course of 6 weeks (one hour per sport). We incorporate opportunities for students to participate in a series of mini games to practice learned skills, and culminating events where students can share their skills and teams can have the excitement and reward of working together toward a common goal.

Soccer

Our soccer skills camp welcomes players of all levels! Students will learn the basics of the game, and test their skills throughout a day full of skill work and engaging mini games. Whether they are working on their first touch or pinpoint passing, our curriculum has it all. Players will even have a chance to win their own world cup in our tournament play!

About Elevo

Elevo’s mission is to transform the well-being of students so they look forward to coming to school. We work hand-in-hand with schools to nurture our next generation with a full range of programs.

Our WASC-accredited curriculum is designed to promote emotional intelligence through physical well-being and enrichment activities. Our programs provide opportunities to learn, move, and thrive together beyond classroom walls.

There is a reason we call our staff  “Coaches,” as they exemplify our mission, our approach, and our promise to students, schools, and families. Our coaching model is built on a foundation of mentorship. Through the support and training of our staff, our coaches can confidently lead children in fun and engaging activities that are designed to create opportunities for learning while developing essential life skills.
