ELO-P Fireside Chat with Elevo, Michael Funk & Palmdale School District Watch Video
We believe learning should be engaging, empowering, and full of joy.
Picture eight-year-old Nick Telford and Chris Murphy describing their dream life as grown-ups: “No one bosses you around. You spend every day with your best friend. You keep all the best parts of school forever: having a laugh on the playground. Inventing crazy games. Endless house to nail new skills. Making the pass that opens the goal. Earning a thumbs up from that coach you look up to. And, what would make life even better?
Well, maybe: you live by the beach. Somewhere where it’s always sunny, and you can play outside every single day.”
As we head into this next phase of life, we have a shared mission that would make our eight-year-old sleeves cheer – even if our day-to-day realities don’t include as much surfing and Mario Kart as we might hope.
Over the past two decades, we’ve had the pleasure to build an extraordinary program that puts a smile on students’ faces every day. And, we’ve spent the last few years in particular rolling with drastic change, leading through the blindest unknowns, and growing – just as we teach students to do.
