Elevo’s Year in Review: Looking Back on the 2023/2024 School Year

By Maya Rahman-Rios, Elevo Content Manager

The end of the school year is a great time to reflect on the journey we’ve been on with our staff, our district partners, and our students. Each year is a learning opportunity, a chance to improve, and a moment to show up as our best selves for those we serve.

We believe every child deserves a team, and we are proud to have partnered with districts across California to provide programs that support the physical, mental, and academic well-being of more than 360,000 students over the 2023/2024 school year.

As our partnerships have grown, we have grown alongside them. Elevo has a team of more than 2400 coaches motivating and mentoring students across the state. Our leadership team welcomed a new Chief Financial Officer, Chief People Officer, and Senior VP of Marketing, and throughout the organization, many of our team members continued their growth path and took on new roles.

We also sought every opportunity to continue expanding and improving our curriculum, programming, and services. The lessons we’ve learned, as well as the feedback from our students, schools, and districts is informing the 2024/2025 school year and beyond. By adding new rotational sports, discussions, and a new emphasis on arts and musics, we’re giving our students even more opportunities to find their new favorite interest.

Transforming student well-being begins with building relationships, and the coach/student relationship is the foundation of everything we do. In school and out of school, from sports and games to enrichment and academic support, we will continue to create and deliver programs where all students have opportunities to learn, more, and thrive together.

We want to thank everyone at Elevo, as well as our partner school and districts, for making the 2023/2024 school year an amazing one. Cheers to exciting conclusions and new beginnings.

Here we go!
