This year, we’re putting the spotlight on our curriculum modules and programs that transform the well-being of students, so they look forward to coming to school. This month, we’re featuring Enrichment, our blend of thematic activities, 21st Century skills, and homework coaching.
What is Elevo Enrichment?
Enrichment is our expanded learning opportunity program curriculum that includes our thematic educational enrichment activities, as well as our homework coaching and academic support. This turnkey solution gives students the opportunity to grow their curiosity and explore subjects like STEM, 21st Century Skills, and the arts. They may just discover new talents, skills, and interests along the way.
Thematic Enrichment
Our project-based enrichment activities offer students voice and choice in how they participate, and lessons are designed to help ignite student curiosity and help foster a love of learning. Our goal is to engage students in relevant, culturally enriching themes that reflect their diverse communities, while incorporating art, dance, theater, STEAM, humanities, and 21st Century Learning into activities. Lessons and activities are designed to be developmentally appropriate and reflect grade level state standards. Each 6-week theme is selected to cover a wide range of interests, cultures, and self-development skills.
Homework Coaching & Academic Support
We provide daily homework support to help students meet grade-level standards and, for older students, to help them develop sound organizational and study skills. Students are divided by grade bands (TK-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 6-8) to receive homework help. Younger students and students without homework are offered several enrichment options including journaling, writing, vocabulary (word maps), drawing, and read-aloud. We also offer math games that build number
sense, fact fluency, and problem-solving. Our academic enrichment activities are differentiated by grade band, as well.

Este mes presentamos Enriquecimiento, nuestra combinación de actividades temáticas, Habilidades del Siglo 21, y asesoramiento para las tareas.
Qué es el Enriquecimiento?
Enriquecimiento es nuestro plan de estudios ampliado del programa de oportunidades de aprendizaje que incluye nuestras actividades temáticas de enriquecimiento educativo, así como nuestra preparación para las tareas y apoyo académico. Esta solución llave en mano brinda a los estudiantes la oportunidad de aumentar su curiosidad y explorar temas como STEM, Habilidades del Siglo 21 y las artes. Es posible que descubran nuevos talentos, habilidades e intereses a lo largo del camino.
Enriquecimento Temático
Nuestras actividades de enriquecimiento basadas en proyectos ofrecen a los estudiantes voz y elección sobre cómo participar, y las lecciones están diseñadas para ayudar a despertar la curiosidad de los estudiantes y ayudar a fomentar el amor por el aprendizaje. Nuestro objetivo es involucrar a los estudiantes en temas relevantes y culturalmente enriquecedores que reflejen sus diversas comunidades, al tiempo que incorporamos arte, baile, teatro, STEAM, humanidades y aprendizaje del Siglo 21 en las actividades. Las lecciones y actividades están diseñadas para ser apropiadas para el desarrollo y reflejar los estándares estatales del nivel de grado. Cada tema de 6 semanas se selecciona para cubrir un amplio rango de intereses, culturas y habilidades de autodesarrollo.
Asesoramiento en Tareas y Soporte Académico
Brindamos apoyo diario con las tareas para ayudar a los estudiantes a cumplir con los estándares de su nivel de grado y, para los estudiantes mayores, ayudarlos a desarrollar sólidas habilidades organizativas y de estudio. Los estudiantes se dividen por grupos de grados (Pre K-2, 3-4, 5-6 y 6-8) para recibir ayuda con la tarea. A los estudiantes más jóvenes y a los estudiantes sin tarea se les ofrecen varias opciones de enriquecimiento que incluyen llevar un diario, escribir, vocabulario (mapas de palabras), dibujar y leer en voz alta. También ofrecemos juegos de matemáticas que desarrollan el sentido numérico, fluidez de hechos y resolución de problemas. Nuestras actividades de enriquecimiento académico también se diferencian por rango de grado.
