DDP Spotlight: Maxime Thellier on Cultivating Relationships, Growth, and Perspective

By Elevo Marketing

At Elevo, true leadership is about more than titles or tenure—it’s about vision, connection, and the lessons learned along the way. Few embody this ethos better than Maxime DDP, who, after 10.5 years with the company, sees his role as an opportunity to spark deeper connections.

“What keeps me at Elevo? It’s the people, the culture, and the friendships,” Maxime says. “You can’t build real success unless you build real relationships. That’s what I enjoy most in my role—meeting people and building trust that lasts.”

Maxime’s approach to cultivating connections is apparent in his decade-long engagement with Moreno Valley. “Over the years, the relationship we’ve built there goes far past business. Some of the principals and staff have become friends, people I genuinely trust and respect. That kind of kindness and connection motivates me to go further,” he shares.

When it comes to growth, Maxime embraces the long game: “Anyone can cut down a tree and get quick results. But I’d rather build a forest that flourishes. Organic growth—nurturing programs, investing in relationships, and going above and beyond what’s expected—that’s where real, lasting success comes from.”

This belief is fueled by core values Maxime names without hesitation: “I believe in being genuine, loyal, and hardworking. Those are the traits that have guided me, not just at Elevo, but throughout my life.”

Maxime’s path at Elevo began with a bold commitment to standing out. “I came to the U.S. from France for sports business school in Paris that partnered with UC Riverside,” he says. “I wanted to differentiate myself in a crowded field, but what I really found here was a chance to build a life—meeting my wife, finding community, and putting down roots.”

That sense of adventure and personal growth didn’t stop with his career. In 2018 and 2019, Maxime and his wife traveled to nearly 30 countries. The journey shaped his worldview: “Life is short, and freedom means waking up every day excited by what you might discover. Traveling opened my eyes—not just to different ways of eating or treating the environment, but also to the things that unite us across cultures. Sometimes, you can learn a lot about a country from the people you meet—even if you’ve never been there.”

Looking toward the future, Maxime’s vision remains consistent: “For me, it’s about growth on every level—watching my child develop, guiding my family in the right direction, and

helping Elevo flourish for years to come. If you plant the seeds with care, you can grow something meaningful that lasts.”

Maxime’s journey reminds us that leadership starts from within: by connecting deeply, staying true to our values, and finding purpose in the long-term impact we create in our work and in the world.
